Resident Evil 4 Film

Umbrella, the biggest company in the world, accidentally released the T-Virus. The T-Virus turns humans into dangerous zombies, in some unique cases it either makes the person retain their control or turn them into monstrosities.

After escaping control of Umbrella and letting the colony leave to find paradise, Alice confronts Wesker (CEO of Umbrella) in the Tokyo headquarters. Following the battle, Alice searches for the colony and the paradise. The paradise is supposedly a safe haven from the T-Virus and has everything needed to survive.
First couple of scenes contains too much C.G.I., which ruins the beginning of the film, it involves clones and slow motion bullets. The film does get a lot better, the CGI is reduced as does the strength of the main character, which balances out the fairness.

The film gets much better after the C.G.I. decreases. The ending will disappoint fans of the video franchise.

I’ve got a Porsche…and a Blackberry.

There have been many pictures flying around of the new Porsche designed Blackberry. The difference between it and other Blackberry phones is probably just a cosmetic one.

“the Porsche phone has an aggressive metallic facade and harsh angles.” –

The Blackberry 9980 will take a daring step in changing the nice curvy image of the Blackberry phones of the past and gives it the German touch, with straight lines and very small curves.  Many fans will probably go against the idea, since they like the current Blackberry design.

Personally I would love to own one, mainly because of it being so different. The only downside is that keyboard doesn’t look very comfortable and will the buttons light up when it’s dark?

Only time will tell, as it is released on the 27th, hopefully will be in my price range.

Short Term or Long Term? Xfactor?

So X Factor has been on for the past few weeks, and only started watching it because the girlfriend likes it. But this got me thinking what are the chances that the winner will actually go on to have a successful career?

The best example is Alexandra Burke and JLS. Alexandra Burke came first in the 2008 series of X Factor, while JLS came second. So in theory Alexandra Burke should be way more successful than the group, however this is not the case as JLS have been awarded many more awards than she has. Olly Murs also came second and has done better than the winner Joe McElderry.

Many over X Factor winners have disappeared off the face of the earth, such as Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson.

So is there any point to X Factor other than just entertainment when some of the winners never get a successful career?

Resident Evil Apocalypse Box ArtStory So Far

In the first film, Alice woke up in a strange mansion after being knocked unconscious by some sort of gas. She meets up with An Umbrella Squad, and they delve into the heart of The Hive. Inside they find that it is spookly quiet and that everyone appears to be dead. After shutting down the A.I. the zombies escape from behind closed doors and horror ensues.

The majority of the squad are killed by either the A.I. or the zombies. Alice and Matt (Enviromentalist) manage to escape The Hive. No happy ending though Matt get’s infected and then some scientist dressed in white appear and take them both away.

In this film, Alice once again wakes up to a deserted location, except this time it is Raccoon City which has been infected by the virus. She meets up with Jill Valentine and two civilians. Alfred Ashford gives them a way out if they save his daughter. They have a limited amount of time as Umbrella has planned a tactical Nuclear to sanatise and wipe out Raccoon City.

Again this film is mainly about the two main female characters who can both kick some butt which is pretty awesome, some of the effects they pull off however make it more of a action film than a horror film, though when the zombies first appear the skip frame effect makes it slightly scary. This film brings some characters from the game including Jill and the Ashfords.

So this film is mainly aimed at the fanbase and action fans, it isn’t particular scary but has some amazing action moments, especially when Alice drops her weapon, and I enjoyed it regardless.

Afterall it must be pretty good if it is one of the most successful game to film conversions ever.

The Minimalist’s Guide 2.0.

From the Guide

Read the above guide, I found it very enlightening.

I find myself constantly hording stuff I don’t need, such as old toys, gadgets, video games, movies etc. Has this benefited me in anyway? nope.

I look around my bedroom and see clutter everywhere, pointless junk that I think I may need but don’t.

Think of this:

The word vacation, in fact, comes from the Latin vacare, meaning, “to be empty.” No wonder we love to away from it all!

So during one of the best times of our lives, we actually have a lot less. Because of this I am thinking of having a big clear out, as an uncluttered living space results in an uncluttered mind.

Oh and down there is a photo of my lovely mess.

Good news BlackBerry owners: “BLACKBERRY is saying sorry to its users left furious by last week’s outages by offering them free apps worth more than £60.” See the article here.

Awesome, except they choose the apps, and the two so far are a bit useless for the majority of blackberry owners. An app that reads out texts (other smartphones already have this) and a game which is in German.

But at least they are trying, I would rather have 3 more days added to the contract. Though again that would be useless for people on contracts, as I’m on payg.

What do you think?

Back to Being Mr. I.T

Have you ever been good at something, but gotten bored of doing it?

I have studied IT for 4 long years, and just got bored of the attention to detail and how much stuff the lessons don’t teach you to get a job. (I.e C+) so would have to go to university to progress but no funding, plus I only liked it as a hobby.

So decided to take on a business diploma, which I enjoyed so much more even though I was worse at it. Main reason we got to run a registered company and take all the earnings, well that was the plan, went into debt.

Now fast forward two years and I now have a job at reputable distribution company in the finance department. Within a few weeks we had new PCs and the updated Microsoft Office 2007, in a matter of hours I reverted back to being Mr IT. I started helping out the rest of the staff to get their machines the way they wanted.

Battling with Outlook to get it to insert attachments the old way, to convincing SAP to revert its colours to the previous version’s theme. Though today Excel got the better of me, froze up and refused to recover anything.

Typical thought I got away from all that.
